TURKISH AIRLINES SUPPORTS MEDICAL TOURISM
The medical tourism market in the world has been rapidly growing in recent years. In order to increase share of Turkish Healthcare establishments in the market and support national economy, Turkish Airlines has prepared a support program for Healthcare Establishments who invest in medical tourism.
The program offers special discounts and incentives for those who come to Turkey for medical treatment purposes. Protocols have already been signed with majority of JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited healthcare establishments in Turkey.
Along with 32 JCI accredited hospitals, substantial cost advantages help Turkey become one of the most preferred countries in medical care. Turkey offers savings up to 75 to 90% comparing the treatment costs in the USA. As Turkish Airlines, we wish to see Turkey to be among one of the leading destinations for medical tourism.
WHY THY?
• Travels from the USA to Turkey: Up to 25% discounts (1) on first, business and economy class system fares will be applied.
• Travel from other countries to Turkey: 20% discount (1) on first, business and economy class system fares will be applied(2)
• 10kg excess luggage allowance (3) will be issued.
• No rebooking penalty if the rebooking is required because of medical complications(4) |
Maximum 2 companions traveling with the patient are entitled for the same discounts and rights.
Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts. No discounts on promotional fares. No discount for stretcher.
- Flights must be TK only. Code share flights are not included.
- Piece concept (such as USA to Turkey): 2 Pc, 32 Kg per piece maximum luggage allowance on Turkish Airlines operated flights only.
- Passengers will be charged if upgrade is necessary or other fees are required.
